1) About FaarBuild

FaarBuild helps people discover hardware shops and construction material sellers in their locality, view listings (including prices and contacts), compare options, and connect buyers and sellers. FaarBuild is a marketplace and discovery platform; we do not guarantee availability, price accuracy, delivery, or quality of materials.

2) Eligibility and age requirements

You must be able to form a legal agreement to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you may use the Service only with the involvement/consent of a parent or legal guardian. The Service is not intended for children under 13.

3) Accounts and user responsibilities

• You are responsible for all activity on your account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it updated.
• You must not share access to your account in a way that puts buyers, sellers, or the platform at risk.
• You must notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

4) Seller obligations

When you list a shop, material, price, or promotion as a seller, you agree that:

• Listings must be truthful, clear, and not misleading (including pricing, units, and material type).
• You have the right to sell or offer the listed materials and the listing does not violate any law.
• You will handle buyer inquiries professionally and respect user privacy.
• You are responsible for taxes, permits, and compliance related to your business.

5) Buyer responsibilities

• You are responsible for verifying prices, quality, quantity, and terms with the seller before purchase.
• You must not misuse seller contacts or harass sellers.
• Any transaction decisions you make are your responsibility.

6) Transactions and payments

FaarBuild may enable communication and discovery, but unless explicitly stated otherwise, FaarBuild does not process payments and is not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers. Any payment, delivery, refund, warranty, or dispute is primarily between the buyer and seller.

7) Promotions and featured listings

Sellers may promote products or listings. Promotions do not mean we endorse a seller or guarantee price, quality, availability, or performance. We may label or position content as “Featured” or “Promoted.”

8) Location and proximity features

The Service may use location information (if you allow it) to show nearby shops or materials and to improve relevance. You can turn off location permissions in your device/browser settings, but some features may not work.

9) Prohibited use

You must not use the Service to:

• Post false, deceptive, illegal, or harmful content.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your shop, identity, or materials.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Scrape, copy, or harvest data (including contacts and prices) at scale without permission.
• Attempt to hack, overload, or interfere with the Service.
• Upload malware or attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems.

10) Content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g., shop details, listings, images), but you grant FaarBuild a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the Service (for example, showing your shop to buyers nearby).

The Service, branding, and software are owned by FaarBuild or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy or modify the Service except as permitted by law.

11) Verification

If the Service displays a “verified” status for sellers, it may reflect limited checks performed by FaarBuild. Verification is not a warranty or guarantee of quality, pricing, honesty, or performance. Buyers should still do due diligence.

12) Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that listings are accurate, that sellers will respond, that materials will be in stock, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

13) Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FaarBuild will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service or dealings between buyers and sellers.

14) Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FaarBuild from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your content, your use of the Service, your transactions, or your violation of these Terms.

15) Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, pose risk to other users, or if required by law. You may stop using the Service at any time.

16) Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users (for example, by posting updates on this page). Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

17) Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Uganda, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be handled in the competent courts of Uganda, unless a different dispute process is required by applicable law.
